Sometimes you see a cute guy and you wish you were with him. You wonder whether it is appropriate for you to approach him first. It’s not always the guy’s job to make the first move. Guys simply love it when a teen girl approaches them first, it means they are out-going and bold. If you show your interest he would be relieved as it would take off a lot of pressure from him and he would not have to do all the hard work himself. It would be a great start to getting your guy to notice you. Here are some ways to approach a guy.

1. The first thing that you need to do is to get his attention with eye contact and smile. Simply smile and stare for a moment until he catches your eye. But do not stare for a long time. If he smiles back then he is definitely interested.

2. The second step would be to walk up to him, smile and say ‘hi’ in a soft voice. If you are in a book store it is very easy to start a conversation by asking what books he reads or what books he would suggest. If you are in a music store simply ask the guy that you are looking for so and so music and where would you find them and carry on the conversation from there on. If you are in a bar and the guy is waiting for a drink simply ask him to recommend you a cocktail.

3. The next step would be to keep the conversation going. Listen carefully to his tone when he speaks back. This would give you some hint on whether he is interested in talking to you further. If he smiles and speaks to you then you are on the right path. Do not talk too much, let him speak more and listen with interest.
