If a teen has had a recent break-up and has finally realized that it was entirely his/her fault. You’ve made a terrible mistake of letting this great relationship end. You wish you could get back your ex and you’re missing your honey very much. How do you convince that you are not going to make the same mistake again in future? It’s difficult but not impossible.

Apologize and admit that you were at fault: you need to have an honest, heart to heart conversation with your partner. Don’t put the entire blame on your partner. It’s very easy to blame the other person for what went wrong. Analyze what actually went wrong and what necessary measures are to be taken to avoid it from happening again. Discuss the reason why it happened? Whose fault was it? You may not be the only one at fault but you could have given more thought and cared more about your partner’s feelings. Try and explain him all these points politely. Who knows he might get convinced. Both of you should take out more time for understanding each others feelings better.

Remind your ex of the good time that you’ll have had together. Let your ex know that you cherish those moments spent together and they are very special to you. Let him know that you remember those special moments. Send him an email or a text message reminding him of all the good old memories. This might do the trick for you.
