Falling in love is a wonderful feeling. Teenagers start believing that they are willing to do everything to make this relationship work. In the beginning, one might try to go to any lengths to make their relationship a success but at the end they would definitely realize that since the time you have entered into this particular relationship your lifestyle has changed dramatically.

Getting involved in a relationship is great, but teen magazine warns you not to lose yourself completely in the process. By losing track of your own identity you would start feeling subdued and lost forever. You would realize later that the relationship is taking its toll on you and there would be nothing but resentment and regret. Such a relationship would definitely not last for a long time. Instead, you would be craving to walk out of this kind of a relationship.

Teens should know that for a healthy relationship compromises are a must but in this process one shouldn’t forget their individuality and interests. You cannot change yourself completely for someone or expect that your partner would either. Learn to accept the fact that no two individuals can share the same interests. There could be few similarities in the flow of your thought process, your principles and the way you live your life. But differences are bound to occur , the only thing which matters is the way you choose to handle those differences. Our advice to all the teens would be never let the fear of rejection and break-up keep you from fulfilling your dreams and goals in life.
